Since its creation the Manufacturing process for Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge has never changed, nor the origin of its basic elements, mainly: Exotic oranges, cognac from the "Grande et Petite Champagne".
The Cognacs are aged at the Chateau de Bourg, right inside the French Cognac territory. But it is in Neauphle-le-Chateau that Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge is manufactured.
There, the orange peels are going to reach, through maceration, their full aromatic flavor.
During a long and very precise process, carefully monitored, this flavored spirit is going to add itself to the Cognacs and also to the sugar sirup.
The result: a very warm, rich and ambered liqueur, The Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge.
